Applicants Module

StaffSoft's Applicant/Candidate screen enables you to track several kinds of information about the applicants with whom you work.

In  the Applicant screen StaffSoft enters for you: 

A unique applicant ID (identification number).  

The origination date of the applicant’s record. 

The identification of the recruiter entering the record.  

Checks the Active box.  

The date of the last update to the record and the identification of the person who last updated the record.  

The average overall ratings score once individual ratings are assigned. 

Whether the applicant’s résumé is filed or not

 

Using this screen you can:   

Enter multiple addresses.  

Enter, edit, retrieve, and print all applicant information.  This includes educational background, career history, and interview history. Records may be entered manually, by using a scanner and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software, or via e-mail.

Enter and store interview results or notes which are dated progressively.

Store and access résumés by a direct link to the word processing program in use. This function works with the following Windows–based word processors: Microsoft Word 6.0a or later; Ami Pro 3.01; and WordPerfect6.0a and later. 

Create User-Defined field.

Add appointments and to-do items to the Time Planner or Microsoft Outlook 98

Use StaffSoft's reverse-search option to search for a position in which to place an available applicant within existing job orders or for a position with clients recorded as needing certain skills. 

Assign a new recruiter ID to applicant records.

Generate and print StaffSoft-supplied template form letters for applicants; and create and edit new form letters for applicants.

Generate and send facsimile messages from either the Form Letter or Quick Mail screens

Generate and send e-mail via the Internet.

Sort applicant records by assigned applicant ID number, company name, last name, first name or by recruiter ID.

Scroll through applicant records using the VCR buttons, providing there are no branch access restrictions in the case of multiple locations. 

Set a "follow-up" date on which to contact an applicant.

Access the Applicant/Candidate background screen.

Access the Career History screen.

Add licenses and certificates with an optional automatic reminder in the time planner or Microsoft Outlook 98 before the license or certificate expires.

Access the References screen.

Add W4 details, Workmen’s Compensation codes and additional accounting information when the accounting function is enabled.

Record contact notes in the Contact Manager.

Generate customizable reports.

Dial from the screen. StaffSoft automatically displays a Contact Manager module for recording notes.

Record notes in expandable notes fields which can be spell checked, and cut and pasted
